My post for the Being Creative Blog Party

I'm late adding my post for the Creative blog Party, and I missed Pink Saturday because last monday I knocked my back out of place and have been recooperating ever since. I want to show you the wood plaque I painted last summer to hang outside on my porch. This was my first attempt at painting with no instructions. I purchased a piece of bare wood at the craft store came home and got to work.
I used my non toxic craft paint and tried making Hydraengeas like we grow in our garden. I like these paints because I can   wipe my white work table clean with a wet rag.

I found a good thick fast grab glue thats also non toxic. I can get this all over my fingers and it washes right off as does the paint I get all over my fingers.

Bless your heart! I hope you are feeling better. I was late joining the fun at Amisha's party too, so don't feel too bad. Your sign is amazing! I've never painted something like that "free hand". Great job!

I hope you are soon feeling better, back pain is so debilitating. Your plaque looks lovely.

Thanks for stopping by my tranquility Post... we lived in Upper Michigan when I was a tween... and I remember how cold it got... beautiful country though, many Lakes and the Forrests were magnificent. I miss picking wild Blueberries and going to the Strawberry Fields. I'm a Desert Rat now and prefer the heat... plus, you don't have to shovel Sunshine! *winks*

Sorry to hear you threw your back out. That is no fun! But I really am impressed with your plaque. No one would ever know it was your first attempt. Well done! Hope you feel better soon.

Blessings,
Tricia

Hi there!
If this was your first attempt to paint a sign, I say keep on going. This is way too gorgeous - wish I could paint flowers like that!
