Etsy Cottage Style summery Cottage Color Party!

The color for August is Orange. My favorite color is Pink, followed by Aqua and Orange. And this time of year I'm thinking Orange. Fall is just around the corner and I'm getting in the mood to sew with some of my orange fabrics!

Look at these cute miniature baskets I purchased.    They are about 2" by 3" tall.
I think I'm going to make some little pumpkins to go inside.
I got this large pot a few years ago from a relative and I think its so pretty.
On the bottom it reads: Grimwades  Stoke on Trent

My pretty orange Snap Dragons
And  beautiful climbing Rose!

And Last but not least is this figurine that I bought my sister a long time ago,  when we were very young.
She stands 9" tall and has a light pumpkin dress and orange bow under her neck.
My sister was downsizing, moving from a house to a condo.
This same Figurine is one of many things I got from her.

Hi Mary,
Oh your treasures for Orange and the ECS party are wonderful. I just love those little baskets you have plans for and the fabrics are so yummy for Fall. I love the figurine. The colors perfect for Autumn and sort of Tuscan inspired too.
Your climbing roses are beautiful and the snapdragons are so pretty. I had no time coming back from vacation to do the party, but I hope to get back in to a routine this Fall.

Thank you for stopping by and your kind comments and anniversary wishes. You are a dear my friend. Have a wonderful weekend.
Hugs, Celestina Marie

Ms. Pink, Thanks for stopping by, it has been a wahile. I thought of you as I am starting a big new project, making Christmas tree ornaments and decorations. I am using scrap art, old jewerly and stuff like that there. I hope to have an 11 foot tree, so wish me luck. Shooting for a Christmas blog or two or three. Richard from My Old Historic House.

Orange is not one of my favorite colors, but, sometimes I can seem to make it work. You seem to do it perfect. Thanks, Richard from My Old Historic House,
