Here are some of my flowers from my Garden...................
Some little birds taking a break from the heat.
A few years ago I was given some nice old china and tea cups from a family member who is now deceased.
I found this purse in one of the boxes. Its in very good condition, with no beads missing and no tears.
The beads look kind of dirty on the photo, but their not they are iridescent and show up this way on the picture. I was wondering if anybody would have an idea how old this purse is?

Your garden is a vision. Mine is burnt up as we have had weeks and weeks of over 100 temp. and no rain. I am conserving and no watering. oh well. Thanks for stopping by. Richard at My Old Historic House.
Hi Mary!
So good to hear from you! Your garden is amazing! And your purse is lovely! I'm going to guess 1920's THe interior is as pretty as the outside. Vanna
Your garden is absolutly stunning! Your apricot rose is so pretty. I've never seen a coneflower that deep rose pink before..At least I think that's a coneflower...whatever it is it's gorgeous! LOL
What a darling purse. I can't get over how decorative it is inside! Circa 20's-30's?
Have a great weekend!
*hugs*deb
So pretty!
Don't know the age of the purse, but what a lovely discovery amongst the china!
So very pretty and sweet. Love those pink coneflowers. I was just telling Deb that I don't have much land for planting, so have to plant in pots.
Hugs...lu
Your garden is delightful! It has been quite the year for growing things....now we are dealing with infestations of bugs!
I must remember to get some cone flowers in next year. They are so pretty and the butterflies love them, too!

Oh Mary, your garden is a dream come true for me, esp. since we are in the desert and nothing is blooming right now. It's just too hot.
Your flowers are so pretty and a treat for the eyes.
I think your sweet purse may be from the 20's and the flapper days, but I really don't know. It's just a guess. What a pretty treasure you found.
Thanks so much for the comment, I am sorry I had to laugh. Yes, cactus in the fingers would hurt, ouch!
Happy Pink Saturday, Char
I have to ask about that coneflower..I have never seen one with that type of center. I would love to have that in my garden! Your Victorian garden is just stunning!
Hi Mary,
So glad to see you back and I hope your back is doing better.
Your garden is beautiful. Every inch is a dream. We are so HOT here in Texas that a garden like that is beyond our reach this year. We started out good, but with no rain in so long and none in sight, well all the watering is still not enough.
The purse you found in the box is simply gorgeous. I bet even prettier in person. What a nice surprise to find inside.
Have a great week and thank you for stopping by and your kind comment and anniversary wishes. Good Luck in my giveaway.
Hugs and stay well sweetie,
Celestina Marie
Hi, Thanks for visiting my container garden. I just got time to visit yours. It is beautiful - I love the coneflowers and daylilies, and your garden sculptures. Thank you for sharing, Love, Linda

Wow, your garden is so pretty! Love your flowers, gazebo, bird baths and iron fencing. Hope your back is better. I ruptured a disk in my back a few years ago and understand your back pain.
Have a great week!
